Lisa Lewis was born in Trinidad & Tobago. She and is the eldest child of three to her parents Phillip and Lucy Romero. Lisa attended Arima Girls Roman Catholic School and Augustine Girls High in Trinidad. She then journeyed to Canada to study in 1984. There she attended Great Lakes College of Toronto, Canada and the University of Toronto. In 1987, she returned to Trinidad to get married and complete her studies at the University of the West Indies. Lisa obtained her B.Sc. in Mathematics and she received her diploma in Education.

Lisa taught mathematics at San Juan Senior Comprehensive in Trinidad for eleven years. She then migrated with her family to the United States in June of 2001 to continue her teaching career. She also completed her Masters in General & Special Education from Touro College in 2005. She has been, and still is a public High School teacher with the New York City Department of Education.

Lisa married Pastor Ian Lewis in 1987 and has three wonderful children: Israel, Sarah Lee and Elizabeth. They are all presently attending colleges in New York, but most importantly they are serving our Lord Jesus Christ.

Lisa accepted the Lord in 1985 and pastored alongside her husband at Members of Christ Ministries from 1996 – 2001. In April 2015, Lisa was ordained as one of the pastors at Kingdom Life Ministries International. She holds her personal relationship with the Lord, her care for her family and the love for the saints as the most important things in her life.
